Restoring the Foundations
International Training Center
at
Echo
Mountain Inn
As we sought the location for the RTF International Training Center, the Lord led us to a beautiful Inn in the Mountains of North Carolina that meets "almost" all of our desired features. We completed the process of acquiring Echo Mountain Inn in July, 2004. (Click here for details of how you can partner with us in this vision.)
The first training modules started in August, 2004. The training is now ongoing, with two complete cycles of the three training modules scheduled for each year. If you are interested in attending any of these modules, please check out the information on this web site and then call the office (1-888-206-9938) for detailed information.
Here is a discussion of the
features and some of the views of
the rooms and public areas of the Echo Mountain Inn.

We wanted a facility in the
mountains of North Carolina that would provide a restful and scenic
setting. Echo Mountain Inn is a beautiful old structure
located at an elevation of 3,100 feet. Character and ambiance are key words describing this massive 1896
stone and frame structure set on top of Echo Mountain. The motif is
turn-of-the-century.
It is a vantage point for a truly
spectacular view of some of North Carolina's beautiful scenery. At this
elevation, it is possible to experience the upland summers and the beauty
of the mountain fall where the warm days and crisp nights complete the
diversity of the seasons. The Inn overlooks all of Hendersonville and
beyond to the Blue Ridge Mountains. |

It is possible to relax in the peace and tranquility of the mountains without even a trace of city sounds. Yet all of the usual mountain resort activities are just a short distance away as well as a city when we want it. |

We wanted at least 32 bedrooms/units for the ITC. We wanted at least eight rooms for use as RTF ministry rooms, eight bedrooms/units for Healing House attendees, and sixteen extended stay rooms for the Module 3 mentorees. We expect to use all of the rooms for attendees during modules 1 and 2. Echo Mountain Inn meets these requirements since it has 33 rooms. Each bedroom is decorated with antiques and reproductions including nine with fireplace and many with a spectacular mountain view. All rooms have private baths and an array of modern conveniences. The accommodations range from singles to king size beds. |

We wanted public areas where people can gather and share and experience the presence of the Lord, areas that can double as small class room settings. Echo Mountain Inn has several "cozy" such rooms. This picture is the main "sitting" room. |

The library is another public area with magnificence views and antique furniture that can also serve as a small classroom. |

The dining room is delightfully situated with
magnificent views.
There is a full commercial kitchen that can handle any level of serving
and cuisine we desire. Did we say that it also has awesome views.
This room can also be used with larger groups (60-100 people) for training and seminars/conferences. |

Echo Mountain Inn has several additional buildings besides the main Inn building. There is also "Little Echo" with 11 units, a separate building that contains the ITC office, library, and several RTF ministry rooms, and another separate building currently serving as an office building. |
